LMS System Selection & Evaluation Toolkit, Part 5

This is the last in a five-part series.

In this post we focus on choosing the best LMS for your organization.

Talk with each of the finalist vendors. Get detailed information about pricing, additional fees, training, and customer support. Ask for references and check them. You will have this LMS for at least the next 3-5 years, so due diligence here is important. Compare best offer price quotes.

Final selection should be based on your evaluation results, pricing, and ‘bang for your buck’. Although it’s easy to choose the cheapest solution, but remember to factor in hidden costs like purchase of support and training packages, purchase of additional software or off-the-shelf courses, fees for additional user licenses or disk space, to name a few.

Best of luck in your LMS search!
