TrainCaster Editor	Fast, easy to use. Cut and paste text, or type directly into the editor. Format text, add images, video, audio, and flash using the toolbar. Very flexible layout options.	You create one page at a time.	Developing an HTML course without any knowledge of HTML.
Powerpoint Converter	Fast, easy to use. All of the work is done by the converter. You upload a single file and you get an online course. All Powerpoint audio clips are converted.	Any Powerpoint transitions in your presentation are not converted. Powerpoint doesn't have many layout options.	Existing training content; developing new content by SME's.
Word Converter	Fast, easy to use. Most work is done by converter - you put in the page breaks using a web form. Upload a single file to create a course.	Some formatting is lost. Tables and some images may not be converted properly.	Best for text only documents.
PDF	Preserves all formatting. Gives you an additional option using any desktop tool that supports Acrobat. Currently this is not a converter process, but can be done manually.	Pages are managed on the desktop; this means you create separate files - one file per course page. Each file is uploaded separately to your web course.	Complex word documents, charts, graphs, statistical data.
HTML	Most versatile option. Supports any web-compatible object. You have complete control over the layout of your course pages.	Requires an HTML editor and HTML knowledge.	Delivering web courses that include links to external references, exercises and pop-ups.
SCORM 2004	Delivers any online content. Standards compatible format. Can track and bookmark any page/exercise in the course.	Difficult to develop using internal resources.	Courses purchased from third party vendors.
